TRANSPORTATION
CV Fine Art Services offers fine art shipping throughout the United States.
Our shuttle runs the Eastern seaboard bi-monthly and the southern route to Florida
during the alternate weeks. The shuttle trucks are climate-controlled, air-ride and are
staffed with two service representatives/art handlers.
The service representatives responsible for the shuttle runs have experience handling
every type of fragile object. They have extensive knowledge of various packing and/or
crating methodologies as well as vast experience with art installation or de-installation.
When CV FAS shuttle services do not adequately meet the needs of our clients, we will,
with your permission, contract with another specialized fine art shipper to provide service.
We have strong relationships with various fine art service companies that have proven to be
capable of providing the quality of service that our clients have learned to expect when
contracting with CV FAS.
CV Fine Art Services has the capability to provide Exclusive Use and Last On First Off
service when requested. Our tractor-trailer and straight trucks have been scheduled for
various projects throughout the United States on an Exclusive Use basis.
LOCAL SERVICES
Our experienced art handlers offer museum quality services including packing, crating,
installation, and de-installation throughout the Metro Atlanta area. You will find personnel
qualifications of the art handlers below; they have over 40 years of combined
experience in the museum quality service field.
Our newly designed crate shop contains state of the art equipment. CV Fine Art Services
is one of a very few professional craters in Atlanta to have the capacity to provide EU
compliant crates for international shipments.
Our crating department discusses specifications and needs with clients whenever possible
to produce the design that best suits each individual project. Our experience has included
building crates for the return of Ramesses I to Egypt, a crate to ship the masthead from the
Andrea Doria to a museum in Milan, and crates to expedite an exhibition of over 100 mixed
media pieces by a renowned folk artist to a museum show in Texas.
